About Us
| We
are from San Jose, the Garden City, where the soil is black alluvium, and
beekeeping began in California. Ten years ago, we started a small business
called Knightsen Honey Company, selling honey from bees we keep. We raise
almost all the food we eat. We drink milk from goats milked daily. We
shepherd a flock of sheep, delicious silent lawn-mowers. Gina, the donkey,
protects the sheep. A busy flock of chickens give eggs and meat while
neutered cats keep things interesting. We've fermented libations for 20 years,
starting with beer, moving into mead and landing on wine. |
